A Body for the Soul / The City the Earth needs

A Body for the Soul / The City the Earth Needs is an ongoing exhibition at the Unity Pavilion, Auroville, that opened in February 2020. It is dedicated to the exploration of the city plan from its origin, as an evolutionary need, seen by the Mother, to the birth of the city plan, the Galaxy and its guiding parameters and unifying urban design principles.
The exhibition is also a platform for discussions, research and participation. The birthday dedication of February 28th, saw the first of the City Conversations, focused on Auroville’s present challenges and dreams. It brought together seven Auroville speakers and eminent mentors like Dr Karan Sing and BV Doshi.

Here are the links to the Opening of the exhibition, an Introduction that forms part of the exhibit, and the City Conversations.
The exhibition is closed to the public for the moment.
For information on timings as the situation improves and further programme details, please contact the Unity Pavilion: unity@auroville.org.in
