Vision and mission of the farm

Pazhamudir Cholai farm aims to provide an opportunity for Auroville children to experience organic farming in programs related to the schools as well as to educate and inspire women in Auroville and surrounding villages to do organic farming.

 

Current operations

Cholai farm is located on the main tarred road in the Service Area near the Reve community. It mainly grows a variety of local fruits and vegetables. It also grows some pulses and has a small dairy farm.

 

Plans in the upcoming years

Cholai farm hopes to focus on educational activities in the coming years.

It is in the silence of a peaceful mind that one can best commune with Nature.
